KVP is pleased to offer a design only service for new kitchen ventilation systems.
It can be necessary for local authorities to request detailed drawings and specifications of the new kitchen ventilation system, prior to giving consent. These drawings and specifications need to be in accordance with the latest DEFRA guidance, to comply with the stipulations on the control of odour and noise.
The requirements are set out in the guidance and must be strictly adhered to, using the Appendix 3: Risk Assessment as a basis to determine an appropriate level of odour arrestment.
Kitchen Ventilation Design Solutions
Typically, odour control will be required with noise control to offer a fully considered overall solution.
For a fixed fee, KVP can attend a site survey/meeting to obtain accurate details and dimensions, which are then transferred to AutoCAD drawings to provide a fully compliant and detailed application.
